Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings and other structures. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and works efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Do

• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing walls, repairing holes and cracks, and sanding surfaces.
• Select and mix paints to desired color and texture using manual and/or computerized techniques.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths or masking tape and remove paint splatters when finished.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality and touch up as necessary.
• Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Collaborate with clients, supervisors, or project managers to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Regular worksite attendance in accordance with Companys Attendance Policy is required for this position
• Other Duties As Assigned
  • Periodic special projects and duties may be assigned based on Company need and requirements
  • Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another, with frequent interruptions or distractions and within tight deadlines

• Pay: $20-30/hour based on experience
• Monthly bonuses based on occupancy: Up to ~$450 (normally around $200-$300)

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a professional painter.
• Familiarity with painting tools, materials, and techniques.
• Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, or at heights as needed.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Drywall patching and repair
• Minor carpentry or surface prep experience.
• Knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and surface treatments.
• Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
• Proactive, self-starter, goal oriented and ability to work independently
• Must maintain and hold a valid State Drivers License
