Our client, a leading player in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a Crane Operator to join their team. As a Crane Operator, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization.
**Job Title:** Crane Operator
**Location:** Petersburg, VA
**Pay Range:** $17.00 per hour
**Shift:** 11 PM to 7 AM
**What's the Job?**
+ Operate overhead cranes to process orders efficiently on the warehouse floor.
+ Send and accept shipments while ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
+ Stand for long periods while fulfilling orders and maintaining productivity.
+ Work in varying temperature conditions, adapting to seasonal changes.
+ Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure workplace.
**What's Needed?**
+ Prior experience working with overhead cranes is a plus but not required.
+ Knowledge of warehouse paperwork and familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
+ Experience operating power equipment and forklifts is advantageous.
+ Ability to bend, stand, reach, pull, and lift as needed.
+ High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
