Welder/Fitter Job Type: Contract to Hire Location: Post Falls, Idaho Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM Job Summary: Seeking a skilled welder/fitter to work on large mining equipment such as Dump Bodies, Fuel Bodies, and Lube Trucks. Must be proficient in FCAW welding and blueprint reading. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints accurately Weld mild steel using FCAW in all positions Fabricate and assemble mining equipment components Perform basic mechanical tasks on valves, pipes, and hydraulic assemblies Required Skills: Proficiency in FCAW welding Strong blueprint reading ability Experience with mild steel fabrication Preferred Skills: MIG welding knowledge General fabrication and fitting experience Entry-level candidates may be considered (welding test required) Work Environment: Large, clean manufacturing shop Team of 75 employees Lean manufacturing principles Benefits: Career growth opportunities Bonus potential Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid holidays and vacation 401(k) with matching Fun work culture with BBQs and events Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
