Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
MIG welding including the following:
o Create quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols)
o Inspect welds for accuracy & quality
o Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel
o Change welding wire as needed
o Change gas tanks as needed
Responsible for the proper packaging, identifying, and moving of all finished products to the proper location
Ability to read measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, protractors, and tape measures
Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner with all safety devices in place
Perform first piece inspections as well as all subsequent inspections as required
Perform simple maintenance and repair as required
Will be required to cross-train as back-up in other areas of manufacturing plant
Accurately enter data into the ERP system, Epicor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
One year experience with MIG welding, preferred
Candidates must pass basic MIG welding test
Position requires basic math and computer skills
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow precise instructions
Good written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, protractors, and tape measure

Working Conditions:
Manufacturing environment
Daily exposure to hot, cold, dusty, noisy environment
Occasional to frequent outdoor work
Potential to work at different area workstations to meet production needs
Required Personal Protective Equipment:
Safety glasses
Safety-toed shoes
Hearing protection
Face shields as needed
