Carpenter (Waterbury, CT) - One (1) Full-Time Open Position**
Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking, machines, carpenter's hand tools, power tools. Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structure and repairs or replaces. Assembles and fastens materials to make framework or props. Installs structures and fixtures for windows, frames, floorings. Finishes surfaces of woodworking or wallboard in houses and buildings. Inspects ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures.
**Position requirements:**
No education required
24 months experience in the job offer or as Cabinet Maker, Concrete Carpenter, Construction Carpenter, Framer, Maintenance Carpenter, or closely related position
Weekly or daily travel to unanticipated sites within the state of Connecticut. The employer will provide free round trip transport to client sites and back from the employer's main address as
well as overnight lodging and any other related expenses as needed.
