DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of machinery including graders, backhoes, bulldozers, high-lifts, and front-end loaders with a bucket capacity of three cubic yards or greater, utilized in various construction, maintenance, and groundskeeping tasks, including snow removal and cindering activities. Additionally, you will operate smaller equipment and carry out labor tasks on designated projects. You will also engage in or support wildfire prevention of all park facilities.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Tuesday - Thursday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Weekends, holidays, and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week
- This position may require overtime.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as an Equipment Operator A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of experience in the operation of heavy construction and specialized maintenance equipment used at this level with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience or training.
Special Requirements:
- You must possess a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.
Conditions of Employment:
- This position requires that employees in this class have a commercial driver's license (CDL) and any endorsements required to operate specific equipment, in order to meet operational needs.
