About the role
As a Sr. Google Architect, you will make an impact by designing and implementing robust cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform. You will be a valued member of the team and work closely with the Manufacturing & logistics team.
In this role, you will:
As a Google Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assess the existing Landing Zone (LZ) and identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Work on the GCP design to enable the platform build for the Enterprise Data Hub (EDH)/Trusted Data Hub (TDH) Program.
- Support Data Migration related activities , ensuring seamless and efficient data transfer.
- Develop GCP High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Design Backup strategies to ensure data resilience and recovery.
- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using Google Cloud Platform to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions seamlessly into existing systems.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-effectiveness using Terraform and Cloud Build.
- Ensure security and compliance by managing IAM and Identity services effectively.
- Utilize the Cloud Foundation Toolkit to streamline cloud operations and deployments.
- Oversee the deployment and management of Google Cloud Compute Engine instances.
- Implement Cloud Load Balancing to ensure high availability and reliability of applications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to teams on best practices for cloud architecture.
- Conduct regular assessments of cloud infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture and processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their cloud-related needs.
- Stay updated with the latest GCP services and features to enhance cloud solutions.
- Contribute to the companys purpose by driving innovation and efficiency through cloud technologies. Qualification

Based on this roles business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Dallas - TX.

What you need to have to be considered
- Possess extensive experience in designing and implementing solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Have a strong understanding of IAM and Identity management in cloud environments.
- Be skilled in using Cloud Build for continuous integration and deployment.
- Show expertise in managing Google Cloud Compute Engine and Cloud Load Balancing.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until July 8, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $99,782 to $161,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizants discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizants applicable plans.
