Forklift Operator and Material Handler - 2nd Shift**

Monday to Friday (3pm-11:30pm), Currently working saturdays as well. (OT Based on production requirements)

**Job Description**

The individual will be responsible for ensuring proper handling of products through essential tasks such as loading, unloading, weighing, bagging, packing, unpacking, and labeling pallets. The role also involves palletizing frozen meat from the chest freezer and placing it on pallets to be shipped out. Additionally, the individual will operate a sit-down forklift to move products efficiently within the warehouse.

**Responsibilities**

+ Ensure proper handling of products through tasks such as loading, unloading, weighing, bagging, packing, unpacking, and labeling of pallets.

+ Palletize frozen product from chest freezer and place on pallets for shipment.

+ Operate a sit-down forklift to move products within the warehouse efficiently.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in warehouse operations and general labor.

+ Proficiency in material handling and lifting.

+ Ability to operate a forklift efficiently and safely.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

**Work Environment**

The work environment is a colder setting, dealing with frozen materials. It tends to be 50 degrees in winter and 80 degrees in summer, with a strong smell due to frozen meat, specifically totes of chicken parts.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mifflintown, Pennsylvania.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $18.79 - $18.79/hr.
