Mechanical Engineer Remote Opportunity quarterly travel to Wisconsin required Industry: Power Generation / Renewable Energy / Engineering Contract: 6-12 months Competitive Pay and Full Benefits Package Join a dynamic engineering team as a Mechanical Engineer , where youll lead mechanical design from concept to installation for cutting-edge power and renewable energy projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver mechanical design packages that meet project and contract specifications. Support early project stages, including conceptual design and tender documentation. Collaborate closely with Electrical Engineers and CAD Designers to coordinate detailed designs. Conduct pressure, temperature, flow, and heat transfer calculations. Create and interpret P&IDs and size absorption chillers. Participate in HAZOP and risk assessments. Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and testing phases. Interface with clients and stakeholders to resolve engineering issues. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards. Requirements Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with experience in power generation (125 MW) or renewable natural gas sectors. Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft Project and AutoCAD or similar tools. Strong analytical, planning, and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and adaptability under pressure.
