Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to support our multidisciplinary team. This role involves overseeing daily operations across project management, business development, safety, quality, finance, HR, and risk management. You will collaborate with leadership to create and implement annual business plans and long-term strategies for office growth and market positioning. Responsibilities
- Manage geotechnical exploration projects of varying complexity, from proposal development to final reporting, ensuring alignment with internal project management standards.
- Drive business growth by utilizing internal tools to identify opportunities and promote integrated services across Environmental, Geotechnical, and Construction Materials Testing sectors.
- Build and maintain strong industry relationships by engaging in local professional organizations to enhance brand visibility and expand networking opportunities.
- Support and engage field staff through regular site visits.
- Proficiency in Geotechnical engineering and Civil engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the State of Tennessee or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Geotechnical analysis and materials testing expertise.
- 6+ years of experience supporting and managing geotechnical engineering projects.
- Understanding of consultants in the A/E/C industry and ability to provide value to clients and generate successful projects from a technical and financial perspective.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering or a Construction-related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining client relationships and proven ability to win work.
- Ability to divide time between office work and regular site visits.
