**Transmission Project Manager**
POWER Engineers, Member of WSP is currently seeking a Project Manager to join the Power Delivery department in our St. Louis, MO office. This position will manage various types of Transmission projects.
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the project planning process including initiation, design, engineering, material procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out
+ Manage project implementation including project schedule, project budget, and the project resources including external vendors and contractors
+ Serve as the primary project authority for assigned project personnel on major project-related issues
+ Direct project team and lead the project management process
+ Responsible for metrics tracking, associated reporting to stakeholders, and compliance with regulatory, corporate, and department procedures during all the phases of the project
**Required Education/Experience:**
+ Bachelors degree and industry-related experience from an accredited university required engineering, engineering management, or construction management discipline preferred
+ Experience five (5) + years of professional experience in the construction, and/or electric power and communications industry
+ Five (5) + years relevant project management experience
+ Relevant experience includes large-scale project management, and/or project lead engineering experience on large/complex projects
+ Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools
+ Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting
**Desired Education/Experience:**
+ A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
+ Five (5)+ years of project management experience
+ Experience in project management controls area
