Job Title: Mechanical Drafter

Reports To: Engineering Manager – Custom Solutions
Location: Cranberry Twp. PA
We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to produce technical drawings for machinery and system components using CAD software. This role supports engineering by converting design concepts into clear, accurate documentation for manufacturing. Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Work closely with engineers to define design requirements
- Use AutoCAD or SolidWorks to develop accurate, production-ready layouts
- Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures
- Update drawings based on revisions or feedback
- Maintain organized records of all drawings and documentation
- Ensure compliance with industry and safety standards
- Support other engineering tasks as needed
- Associate degree in Drafting or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Infor CSI and Arena (PLM) or similar tools
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude

- Strategic thinking and adaptability
- Primarily office-based; occasional hands-on tool use
- May lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Exposure to mechanical parts may occur
- Frequent use of computer and office equipment
