Remote Project Scheduler Live Anywhere in the Posted US States
What You Will Do
The Project Scheduler will spearhead planning and scheduling for multiple high-impact projects. This role will also actively support Corporate Initiatives, including training development and delivery, data analytics, trend identification, and reporting.
How You Will Do It
Implement accepted Planning & Scheduling Best Practices.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and statements of work to prepare and accept usable Baseline schedules for construction.
Monitor multiple project schedules, updating Operations staff and providing guidance as necessary.
Collaborate with the Operations team, representing Johnson Controls and its partners to owners, subcontractors, and their representatives.
Assist in developing conceptual bid and proposal schedules with executive management and present to selection committees if required.
Utilize analytics to identify and report on project trends.
Effectively cost and manpower load schedules for project execution.
Evaluate actual construction status relative to the proposed plan.
Analyze and communicate the impact of changes to the schedule.
Prepare Time Impact Analyses per commonly accepted practices.
Travel to project sites as needed
Develop and deliver specialized Planning and Scheduling training for Johnson Controls.
Critique, create, and recommend improvements to departmental policies and procedures.
What We Look For
Required
3+ years of scheduling experience on commercial construction projects.
Proven success in implementing strategic initiatives.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.
Skilled in developing and maintaining relationships with owners, subcontractors, senior leaders, and project teams.
High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity.
Advanced proficiency in MS Project software.

Preferred
Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred.
