Commercial Electrical Field Project Manager

Were seeking an experienced and highly organized Electrical Field Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial electrical projects from start to finish. In this vital role, youll ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical, safety, and quality standards. As a key member of our Commercial Department, youll coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage field crews, and serve as a crucial communication hub throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full project lifecycle from kickoff through closeout, coordinating field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment, while ensuring adherence to schedule, scope, budget, electrical codes, and safety regulations (OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E).

  • Oversee all project planning and scheduling, including participating in kickoff meetings, creating and maintaining project timelines (POM), and collaborating with analysts to book field resources via Google Calendar and ServiceTitan.

  • Direct field operations by conducting jobsite readiness assessments, assigning crews, verifying site logistics (access, utilities, materials), and diligently monitoring jobsite safety through pre-task planning and audits.

  • Track and approve all field costs, invoices, and subcontractor compliance, ensuring financial accountability.

  • Ensure quality execution by leading jobsite mobilization, monitoring progress, maintaining essential documentation (as-builts, O&M manuals), performing quality checks, managing change orders, and coordinating all required inspections.

  • Serve as the central communication point, acting as the primary contact for field technicians, delivering regular reports (weekly report cards, detailed project logs) to management, and providing consistent updates to clients and internal teams.

  • Lead the project closeout process, including final inspections, testing, client sign-offs, completing punch list items, archiving final documentation in ServiceTitan, and overseeing material returns and site cleanup.

  • Deep understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems.

  • Proficient in job costing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.

  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and NFPA 70E.

  • Proficiency in ServiceTitan or similar field management software.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • A valid drivers license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed.

  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.

  • Experience with project estimation or project controls is a plus.

  • Background in Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, Calendar).
