Sheetrock/Painter

We are seeking a skilled Sheetrock installer/ Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of the restoration industry, including Sheetrock repair and installation. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
* Measure, cut, and install Sheetrock panels according to project plans
* Fasten sheetrock to wall and ceiling frameworks using screws, nails, or adhesive
* Tape and mud joints, applying coats of compound, and sanding surfaces to create a smooth, seamless finish ready for painting or other treatments
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
* Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
* Use proper floor protection, and masking techniques to ensure neat and professional finishes product.
* Professional appearance.
* Able to communicate professionally with homeowners.
* Working alone without supervision.
* Reliable Transportation.
* Must have a pickup truck or means to carry Sheetrock to the job site.
* Must be punctual and reliable.
Skills
* Proficiency in various painting techniques and materials.
* Experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable.
* Competence in drywall repair and installation methods.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Self proficient, not needing constant supervision to complete jobs.
