Electrician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced industrial electrician with expertise in 3-phase 480V systems and industrial troubleshooting to join our automotive manufacturing team. The role involves assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment, diagnosing malfunctioning systems, and connecting wires to circuit breakers and transformers. The electrician must adhere to all safety regulations and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures.
+ Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the country, state, and federal levels.
+ Perform rigging activities, safety-related functions, and other miscellaneous electrical tasks.
+ Demonstrate safe and proficient use of shop tools, both hand and power tools.
+ Exhibit mechanical knowledge and competence in programming Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
+ Safely utilize forklifts and manlifts.
+ Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
+ Perform work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
+ Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
+ Operate effectively in a work environment that is hot, cold, dirty, and fast-paced.
+ Communicate effectively with machine operators and setup personnel to troubleshoot equipment.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in testing electrical systems.
+ 3-phase motors and 480V experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Fanuc robotics is transferrable.

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $85280.00/yr.
