Welder and Fabricator Job Description Join our team as a Welder and Fabricator, where you'll perform MIG .45/.52 welding, dual shield, and ensure all welds are x-rayed. Your skills in reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols will be utilized with minimal supervision. You will conduct layout and fitting work based on blueprints and project specifications, operate tools for scarfing, cutting, and grinding, and maintain high standards of weld quality and appearance as parts will be painted and must be flawless. Weld lengths range from 12" to 36" with consistency and precision, working predominantly during the day shift from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for substantial overtime. Responsibilities Perform MIG .45/.52 welding and dual shield with precision. Ensure all welds are x-rayed for quality assurance. Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols with minimal supervision. Conduct layout and fitting work according to project specifications. Operate tools for scarfing, cutting, and grinding. Maintain high standards of weld quality and appearance for flawless painted parts. Weld lengths from 12" to 36" with consistency and precision. Essential Skills Proficiency in 1G-4G welding: flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead. 6G welding expertise. Comfortable working with all thicknesses, up to 1". Experience with TIG wire 1/16" and 3/32" on stainless steel. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous welding experience is a plus. Ability to work substantial overtime. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
