Job Summary: Job Description Summary:

As a Maintenance Millwright, you will work and collaborate with a team of millwrights, electricians, and mechanics in the areas of safety, quality, and reliability focused maintenance practices. You are responsible for attending and participating in team meetings & trainings, identifying safety, environmental, quality & production issues, coordinating activities with production teams to maximize productivity and minimize cost, and reducing waste while proactively addressing reliability concerns.

Responsibilities

* Work with the team to proactively identify safety issues and take measures to address concerns.

* Actively participate in maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and quality work completion

* Contribute by proactively resolving employee issues, building teamwork, and ensuring adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.

* Lead and ensure compliance with safety initiatives.

* Utilize predictive and preventive maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtime.

* Efficiently troubleshoot issues to meet volume and quality goals.

* Participate in training processes to build the team's technical skills.

* Identify root cause of problems and effectively initiate immediate corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.

* Raise performance by building and maintaining positive relationships with all associates through coaching and development.

* Achieving and sustain business goals.

* Consistently demonstrating leadership skills as well as positive influence and accomplishments in proactively influencing safety, environmental, quality, productivity, and people development

* Utilize computer-based programs to prioritize maintenance requests, maintenance inventory management, and maintenance resource delegation.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.

* Minimum of four years' experience in Industrial Mechanical work

* Knowledgeable in the areas of hydraulics, air systems, mechanical drives, mechanical components, installation methods, troubleshooting and repair techniques and methods, welding, and basic industrial electrical.

* Proven expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance methods

* Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills.

* Strong planning and organizational skills

* Strong work ethic, good judgment, and decision-making skills

* Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other Windows-based programs and internet skills

* Knowledge of Maintenance Planning software such as SAP preferred

* Ability to learn new skills with attention to detail.

* Lift and/or pull 50lbs.

* Climb ladders, work off of ladders, man lifts or other equipment.

* Willingness to work in various locations and conditions, including outdoors and in confined spaces.
