A multi-disciplinary design firm is seeking a passionate and thoughtful Interior Designer who is eager to make a positive impact through the spaces they help create. Team Environment:The Interiors team works across a variety of project types, with a primary focus on workplace and corporate design. Team members are expected to adapt to different design styles, priorities, and project delivery methods while collaborating with integrated design teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Gather client space requirements and develop layout plans.
- Create design concepts, select materials, finishes, and furniture.
- Collaborate on the development and documentation of design solutions.
- Coordinate and specify interior furniture.
- Prepare design presentation materials and renderings.
- Contribute to construction document development using Revit.
- Support senior designers and occasionally manage interior design aspects of projects.
- Stay informed on current design trends, products, and materials.
- Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
- Communicate regularly to confirm design requirements, review progress, and deliver presentations.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to align project goals and present design solutions.
- Bachelors degree in Interior Design.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- NCIDQ certification and CID are a plus.
- Strong experience in workplace and commercial design; healthcare or education experience is a bonus.
- Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and 3D design software.
- Solid understanding of interior design principles and practices.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
