Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a Machine Operator on the 2nd Shift and play a crucial role in crafting high-quality custom site furnishings and bike racks. You will be responsible for precise cutting and assembling of wood and recycled plastic components, operating woodworking machinery, and ensuring all products meet our stringent quality standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Measure wood for benches and table tops, cutting them to the correct length.
+ Cut and assemble wood and recycled plastic components for custom site furnishings and bike racks.
+ Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools, such as saws, sanders, and routers.
+ Cut, shape, and finish materials to precise measurements and quality standards.
+ Apply recycled plastic panels or trim components to metal frames or other base structures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in operating a press brake.
+ Experience using a tape measure accurately.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in machine operation, specifically with wood-cutting and drilling holes.
+ Familiarity with fabrication, mild steel, saw operation, assembly, and forklift use.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous experience as a carpenter is advantageous.
