**Job Description**

The Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing, directing, and coordinating a crew of technicians to ensure a safe, efficient, and economical operation.

**Responsibilities**

+ Supervise, train, appraise, and coordinate shop and field personnel.

+ Ensure the safety, quality, reliability, legality, and efficiency of shop operations.

+ Coach, mentor, and train subordinates to align with company goals and achieve optimal performance.

+ Administer shop production schedules and employee schedules, ensuring hours are allocated to the appropriate job and approved daily in the payroll system.

+ Perform regular inspections on all machinery and maintain compliance with regulations such as OSHA.

+ Maintain shop equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.

+ Assist in developing quotes for repair shop and field activities.

+ Provide technical assistance for project management regarding repair techniques and compliance with quality processes and procedures.

+ Manage work according to approved work scope, schedules, and costs, and develop daily updates and reports.

+ Prepare plans for purchasing required materials and manage tooling inventory.

+ Assist in maintaining raw material inventory and monthly reporting.

+ Adjust manpower as required for accurate project execution.

+ Involve frequently in new opportunity quoting, EWAs, and proposal processes.

+ Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure repairs, productivity, and minimal downtime, including mechanical failures and overall machine maintenance.

**Work Environment**

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Permanent position based out of Sullivan, Missouri.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

100% medical premiums covered for individuals; family or dependents are additional cost

401k fully vested after 6 months, company deposits 3% without the employee contribution. Serves as a profit sharing type plan.

Willing to pay for relocation.

Vacation is negotiable
