Carpenter

JCC Construction is looking for an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join the team as soon as possible. Full-time (40 hours per week) and permanent. Wages are $36.60 per hour plus 4% in lieu of vacation.

Job sites vary but will be in Vancouver and surrounding cities in the Lower Mainland.

Job Requirements:
1. Experience: at least 2 to 3 years of carpentry experience
2. Language: Functional English language is required (speaking, reading and writing)
3. Education: None required

Specific Job Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
