Overview:

The Lawrenceville Borough (located within Tioga County Pennsylvania) is currently accepting applications for the position of General Laborer / Groundskeeper. This is a part-time opportunity with flexible hoursup to 30 hours per weekadjusted based on seasonal needs. We're seeking a self-motivated individual who takes pride in keeping outdoor spaces safe, attractive, and welcoming for the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and small heavy equipment (lawn mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, etc.)

Perform general grounds maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming

Maintain cleanliness and safety of borough-owned parks and recreational areas

Implement seasonal upkeep such as mulching, leaf removal, and snow/ice removal

Remove debris, snow, ice, and other hazards from sidewalks and walkways

Perform minor repairs on outdoor and indoor borough structures

Adhere to safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions

Complete other tasks as assigned to support grounds and property upkeep

Qualifications:

Must be dependable, proactive, and able to work independently

Previous experience in groundskeeping or maintenance is a plus

Familiarity with basic landscaping tools and equipment

Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
