Partner Plus are delighted to be retained by a global leading environmental agency for a Senior Ecological Restoration Engineer / Project Manager.
We are looking for a Senior Engineer / Project Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned civil or environmental engineer to take the lead on impactful, technically challenging projects that restore and enhance ecosystems. Our work spans fish passage design, dam removal, wetland restoration, and coastal resilience. This role offers a hybrid work model with flexibility and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead environmental engineering projects from planning through to implementation.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, including federal agencies (DoD, USEPA, USFWS, NOAA), non-profits, and private sector partners.
Oversee and contribute to all phases of engineering design:
Plan and specification development
Cost estimation
Hydraulic and hydrodynamic modeling (HEC-RAS, RMA or similar)
AutoCAD-based design
Floodplain and habitat restoration planning
Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists.
Manage construction oversight, including administration and QA/QC.
Participate in EA's project management and professional development programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
Demonstrated expertise in:
Civil/water resources engineering
Coastal or aquatic restoration (e.g., dam removal, fish passage)
Technical writing and reporting
Regulatory compliance
Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skillsboth written and verbal.
