Handyman / Maintenance / Makeready for Central Austin Properties

Family-owned rental properties in Central Austin looking for an experienced maintenance professional to join our team! Mostly single family and small multifamily properties.

Responsibilities include general maintenance (plumbing, appliances, carpentry, minor electrical, other interior/exterior repairs), make-readies, exterior upkeep (grounds, gutter cleaning, minor landscaping) and other routine maintenance and repairs.

This is part-time, ongoing work, not a one-time job. Flexible schedule.

Compensation dependent on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:
- Experience in maintenance and make readies, painting, minor plumbing, etc.
- Has own tools and reliable transportation.
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
- Ability to communicate clearly with residents, owners and management.
- Work as an independent contractor, including managing own schedule and invoices.
- Valid driver's license and able to pass criminal background check.
