Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced framing carpenter to assist in the wood frame construction of The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to manage teams of 1-2 other carpenters successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
Installing rough framing lumber, sheet goods, timber, framing hardware, and EWP packages. Working as a team of other carpenters through the construction process. Providing mentorship and instruction to junior framers. Communicate effectively with superintendents and team mates.
Requirements:
-Minimum 2 years of experience as a wood framer in the construction industry.
-In-depth understanding and applied knowledge of construction practices and standards, IBC and regional building codes.
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to successfully manage and motivate teams.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Reliable vehicle and insurance.
-The ability to show up to work consistently and on time.
-Owns basic framing tools (Saw, gun, hose, tool belt)
What We Offer:
Hourly wage of $35/hr - $50/hr, depending on skills and experience.
Full-time, permanent employment.
