Position Overview
This is a hands-on position that coordinates and works on all maintenance at Cooper Spur Mountain Resort. The person in this position is responsible for all aspects of maintenance at our resort, including all needed repairs, property review & inspection, scheduled maintenance, preventive maintenance, and property improvement projects. This person will work to ensure our resort is always in proper working order.
This is a Full-Time/ Year-Round Position
Qualifications & Experience
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with ability to be insured to operated company vehicles and equipment including trucks, snowmobiles, loaders, forklifts, etc.
- Availably to work weekends and holidays
- Exemplary leadership, communication, and guest service skills
- Minimum 1 year supervisory or lead experience in facilities field
- Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
- Advanced construction trade experience preferred
- Project development skills preferred
Compensation:
- Starting Wage: $26.00 per hour

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, sit, stoop, balance, climb and hike in and over steep and uneven terrain. The employee will reach with hands and arms to manipulate small items with gloved hands; operate manual & power operated tools; swing and carry hand tools, equipment, and personal supplies. The employee may regularly lift up to 40 pounds or greater alone and may occasionally lift up to 75 pounds or greater with assistance. Sometimes the employee is required to climb, balance, and work at heights with safety equipment. The employee may be exposed to: working near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; and inclement weather and mountain environmental conditions. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the working environment is sometimes loud; the employee may be exposed to high volume of power tools and machinery on occasion.
