Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Field Operations Managers to oversee the build-out and deployment of wireless infrastructure across select Midwest markets. This role involves managing installation crews, ensuring compliance with safety standards, supervising microwave and RF equipment installation, and coordinating site-level activities with vendors and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation of microwave antennas, RF/fiber cabling, AC/DC power systems, and related telecom equipment.
- Conduct site walks, manage equipment installation, and verify quality during site acceptance.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to radio systems, fiber links, and microwave alignment.
- Ensure site construction aligns with engineering plans and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors to monitor crew capacity, rollout timelines, and deliverables.
- Review technical site surveys, scoping packages, BOMs, and site closeout documentation.
- Approve change requests, validate installation quality, and ensure on-time completion.
- Coordinate repair and return of damaged or faulty hardware.
- Utilize internal tools/systems for documentation, acceptance tracking, and reporting.

Basic Requirements:
- Must reside in or relocate to the selected market (CO, NE, KS) and be willing to travel within that region up to 80% of the time.
- 4+ years of experience in wireless field construction, particularly microwave/radio deployments.
- Strong understanding of RF, fiber optics, electrical grounding, and site safety standards.
- Valid Driver s License and clean driving record.
- Familiarity with wireless site equipment (CX, RBS, WCDMA, etc.).
- Must be able to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
Technical & Operational Skills:
- Proficient in reading site diagrams, blueprints, and OEM installation specs.
- Experience managing construction vendors, scheduling, and work prioritization.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
- Ability to handle decision-making under field pressure and deadlines.
