Foreman, Carpenter & Carpenter Helper

The Restorers Group Inc is looking to fill building envelope/exterior restoration positions in the field of carpentry for many of our projects in Victoria. We are looking for experienced wood frame foreman and carpenters.

Do you meet or exceed the following:
Experienced on basic power tools and uses them safely
Knowledge of basic framing and siding
Knowledge of basic waterproofing/rain screen
Have basic hand tools
Hard working and eager to work
Consistently reliable and show up on time
High work standards and ethics
Strong attention to detail
Ability to maintain site safety and regulations meeting the standards of Work Safe BC

ABOUT THE AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

Wood Frame Foreman
Foreman responsibilities:
Manage 5-15 employees on a site
Follow a construction schedule
Ability to follow construction details
Knowledge and ability to teach:
Structural framing repairs. Wood & Steel Stud
Rot repair / restoration
Installation of siding multiple types

Carpenter/Carpenter Helper
Along with the General Labourer requirements, Carpenter/Carpenter Helper responsibilities:
Structural framing repairs. Wood & Steel Stud
Rot repair / restoration
Installation of siding multiple types
Formwork concrete finishing
Scaffold or aerial lift experience preferred
