Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, including residential, commercial, industrial, and construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Duties

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Renovate existing electrical installations as needed to meet current standards.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
Perform inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify issues and implement solutions.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.

Skills

Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
Knowledge of NEC regulations and compliance requirements.
Background as a residential, commercial electrician or industrial electrician is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
Experience in renovation projects is a plus.
Ability to work effectively on construction sites as part of a team or independently.
