Insight Global's consulting client is seeking an experienced Power BI Technical Lead/Architect to oversee the end-to-end design and development of Finance and Control reports for a Specialty Insurance client.
This role involves leading client discussions to define and architect the Power BI reporting solution, designing and supporting complex queries, driving performance optimization strategies, and providing expert guidance on data security and governance.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Power BI, data warehousing, ETL processes, data modeling, and experience with Databricks. This project includes creating a Data Lake platform in Databricks, integrating data from Guidewire and Legacy systems to support reporting across multiple departments.
This person can sit fully remote with 25% -30% (5-6 days a month) travel to the end client in Cincinnati, OH. There are some cases where travel is optional but encouraged.
