Job purpose

Responsible for oversight on cross-functional projects and obtaining certifications on different products. Lead multiple projects in different stages of development simultaneously, in relation to the engineering, design, production, procurement, construction and certification of the products before shipment. This position will have responsibility in making sure that the in all stages from development of projects are being met and on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with functional leaders to forecast, interpret, and utilize project data to successfully achieve milestones.
  • Lead and implement a comprehensive project management plan that encompasses all critical functions across the project scope.
  • Monitor and manage functional intervals to mitigate risk and ensure continuity across engineering, procurement, fabrication, and delivery stages.
  • Identify project risk factors and proactively communicate them to leadership, along with viable mitigation strategies.
  • Interface with the Production team to assess progress, review forecasts, guide project direction, and initiate course corrections as needed.
  • Track and manage interrelated, co-dependent milestones throughout all phases of the project life cycle, from concept through delivery.
  • Partner daily with internal departments—including Engineering, Purchasing, Quality Control, and Shipping—to review plans, anticipate delays, secure necessary documentation, and align deliverables.
  • Stay informed on drawing schedules and contribute to supplier selection alongside Engineering, ensuring all parts and accessories meet project specifications.
  • Maintain visibility into shop workflow to monitor schedule adherence and quickly address any deviations.
  • Communicate regularly with customers to provide detailed updates, convey expectations, and supply photographic documentation as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with the Shipping Department to secure optimal carriers and guarantee safe, timely, and cost-conscious delivery.
  • Conduct post-project follow-ups with customers to collect feedback and evaluate satisfaction.
  • Assess customer-requested changes to determine if a formal change order is required and initiate accordingly.
  • Demonstrate fluency in analyzing detailed fabrication drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Deliver highly detailed reporting and data management across all project stages.
  • Serve as an advisor to cross-functional teams to drive project completion on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering preferred.
  • Preferred experience in managing stainless tank manufacturing projects.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in Project Management.
  • Strong project management software experience required.
  • Excellent conflict management skills.
  • Must have strong leadership, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required.
