Heavy Equipment Technician**

**Job Description**

Join a dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing heavy equipment and vehicles using safe and effective problem-solving techniques. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of the plant and yard equipment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Maintain all mechanical aspects of plant and yard equipment.

+ Communicate effectively with the supervisor regarding parts inventories and supplies.

+ Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in mechanical maintenance, diesel mechanic with 2+ years of experience.

+ Minimum of 1 year of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic

**Work Environment**

This hands-on position involves inside and outside work, requiring comfort with getting dirty and working in various environmental conditions.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlestown, Indiana.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
