Structural Engineer

This is a fully remote role, and candidates must be located in Eastern or Central time zones. The position offers the opportunity to work with a fast-growing team and potentially step into a leadership role within the next couple of years.

Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to participate in the design and evaluation of large-scale HVAC replacement and complex one-off projects. This role involves conducting surveys, roof load evaluations/assessments, structural loading recommendations/reports, and designing structural roof reinforcements while creating permit construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage third-party consulting firms.
• Communicate directly with clients to provide deliverable overviews, recommendations, and progress updates.
• Interact with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to review, define, and design solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Organize, plan, and run multiple concurrent projects with minimal direction, ensuring deadlines are met with high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and coordinate client relationships.
• Ensure knowledge of building and energy codes is applied effectively.
• Travel required up to 20%.

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Expertise in structural engineering, structural design, and structural analysis.
• Experience in concrete and structural steel design.
• Knowledge of BIM and steel structure design.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License.
• 7+ years of professional experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction roof evaluation and structural loading.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience working directly with clients.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
