Actalent is seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in heavy civil construction to oversee large-scale infrastructure projects from start to finish. What Youll Be Doing:
  • Manage all aspects of project deliveryschedule, scope, budget, and safetyensuring alignment with company standards and client expectations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, field teams, and internal departments.
  • Lead implementation of key programs including Quality Control (CQC), Safety, and Environmental Stewardship.
  • Conduct and lead pre-construction meetings, progress updates, and field briefings to ensure project clarity and alignment.
  • Oversee punch list and project closeout processes to ensure timely, high-quality completion.
  • Review and approve invoices and subcontractor billings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor field operation costs and maintain detailed project schedules using project control data.
  • Support leadership with additional duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
  • Proven experience managing multiple heavy civil construction projects, ideally with budgets exceeding $100 million.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and negotiation strategies.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as HCSS HeavyBid/HeavyJob, Primavera P6, MS Project, or Bluebeam.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
