**Job Description**

Join our team as a Carpenter, where you will be responsible for steel stud framing, framing, drop ceiling, door and window installations, acoustical ceilings, cutting, measuring, and handling glass and windows.

**Responsibilities**

+ Complete carpentry projects with a focus on steel stud framing and drop ceilings.

+ Install doors and windows with precision and attention to detail.

+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately to execute project plans.

+ Perform cutting and measuring tasks to ensure accurate installations.

+ Installation of acoustical ceilings and ensure quality workmanship.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in framing, acoustical and drop ceilings, and steel stud framing.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience with door and window installation.

+ Expertise in measuring and cutting materials.

+ Knowledge of finish carpentry techniques.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ OSHA 30 & 10 HR SST Card.

+ Experience as a commercial carpenter.

**Work Environment**

Work across multiple projects throughout NYC and Long Island. Typical start time at 7:00 am sharp, with some overtime available. Work concludes around 3:30 or 4:00 pm. You will clock in and out on site. Carry required tools, including a hammer, tool belt, carpentry hand tools, speed square, torpedo level, and cordless drill. Maintain a positive attitude, and wear PPE at all times. No cell phone calls or use of air pods/headphones during work hours.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
