Generac is seeking a **skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician/HVAC certified Technician** to join our 1st shift team at our Whitewater facility. In this critical role, youll help keep our manufacturing operations running smoothly by ensuring equipment and systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably.
**What Youll Do:**
+ Perform mechanical, electrical, and HVAC troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
+ Respond promptly to maintenance requests from the production floor.
+ Support facility climate control systems as needed.
+ Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
+ Promote a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.
**What You Bring:**
+ Proven experience in industrial maintenance, including mechanical and electrical systems.
+ **HVAC certification** (EPA Universal or equivalent) required.
+ Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
+ Dependable, self-motivated, and responsive in fast-paced environments.
+ Willingness to support emergency repairs when needed.
**Physical Demands** : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
