Note: The hourly rate for this position is $20 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
- Hours: 7 X8'S , Monday-Sunday, 40+ hours
- Demo and remove existing flooring and drywall per site plans
- Frame and install new drywall, including taping, mudding, and sanding to finish
- Prep and paint walls and trim to a clean, finished standard
- Read and follow construction drawings and specifications
- Maintain clean and safe work areas, adhering to job site safety protocols
- Use hand and power tools such as drills, screwdrivers, saws, and hammers
- Follow blueprints, sketches, and instructions to ensure precise measurements and construction
- Assist with set installation and disassembly as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and proper tool handling
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter, handyman, or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Skilled in drywall installation, taping, mudding, and finishing
- Proficient in demo and installation of various surfaces & components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or design plans
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction well
- Punctuality and reliability
- Knowledge of additional trades (e.g., painting, Carpentry, Demo, Framing, drywall, & Trim)
- Own Tools and ability to bring them to the jobsite: hand tools, drill, saw, hammer, tape measure, pencil
