The project:

We are currently working with a major global financial services client who are re-developing their headquarters property in New York City. This project will last a number of years and include modifications to existing MEP systems, changes to existing and installation of new VT, IT & security modifications as part of a overall full building transformation. We are looking to bolster our project management team in the USA, and specifically in New York City in order to be able to provide specific technical expertise to this client, and to also widen our expertise base across the whole of the Americas region.   • You will guide Assistant Cost Consultants and other junior team members to identify and execute opportunities that improve cost management procedures, templates and products to enhance services provided to stakeholders.

You'll need to have:

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering major facade projects, preferably in a leadership capacity.

  • MEP degree related qualification, or equivalent.

  • Prior experience with an MEP contractor or design consultant would be advantageous.

You'll also have:

  • MEP/Construction related degree (or equivalent).

  • Professional membership or working towards, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.

  • Commercial and financial acumen.

  • Experience of managing parts of projects within large, diverse teams.

  • Experience of developing relationships with key senior stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.

Note: The estimated salary for this position is $125,000. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
