Mechanical HVAC Design Engineer - Akron, Ohio - JOB #25-01041

Salary Range: $50K to $95K - Permanent Position / Benefits

DESCRIPTION:

Akron, Ohio area Company seeks an experienced Mechanical HVAC Design Engineer to work with an interactive team of engineers, sales, CAD designers, architects, project managers, and service technicians to design and guide installation of various HVAC systems under the supervision of the engineering manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of (1) year of HVAC Design experience.

Technical knowledge of forced air and hydronic HVAC equipment

Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit software.

Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems and building materials.

Basic knowledge of building codes and standards: ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, SMACNA, LEED, IFC, etc.

Solid verbal and written communication and documentation skills.

Limited Travel to Customer work sites.
