Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure that all aerospace manufacturing processes and products meet the highest quality standards. This role is critical for driving compliance, improving processes, and supporting both internal teams and external partners in delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to AS9100C, ISO9001, and customer-specific quality standards.

  • Process Improvement: Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5 Whys, and similar methodologies.

  • Inspection and Testing: Design inspection protocols, conduct product tests, and analyze quality data to identify and correct non-conformities.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to troubleshoot issues and support new product introductions.

  • Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate supplier performance, perform audits, and collaborate on resolving quality issues and implementing improvements.

  • Documentation and Auditing: Maintain detailed quality records and support both internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a technical discipline.

  • 23 years of quality engineering experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.

  • Strong understanding of quality systems (AS9100C, ISO9001), inspection tools (e.g., CMM), and root cause methodologies.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
