Civil Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ashburn, VA. Specializing in Land Development, this role involves designing a variety of industrial, commercial, and residential projects across Northern Virginia. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects while fostering an environment of teamwork and flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Create and run electronic hydraulic models for water and sewer systems, including static and extended period simulations.
  • Assist Project Managers and Sr Engineers in the planning and design of hydraulic and stormwater collection systems.
  • Contribute to site development, grading, stormwater management design, and drainage solutions.
  • Collaborate with a youthful, energetic team to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
Essential Skills
  • 1-3+ years of experience in Land Development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Experience with Stormwater Management Design.
  • Ability to create and run electronic hydraulic models for water and sewer systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred but not required.
  • EIT (or PE) certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
