We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics using various CAD software. The CAD Drafter will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Administration duties such as picking up phone calls.
Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
Familiar with Google OneDrive, Microsoft Word & Excel.
Create schematics and layouts for various engineering projects.
Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and specifications.
Coordinate and organize projects startups.
Participate in drafting meetings for reviewing the project assigned in regards the timeline and drafting issues.
Draft plans, sections, and elevations based on initial concepts provided by engineers or architects.
Review and revise drawings as necessary based on feedback from team members or clients.
Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drafting work.
Skills
Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, and Microsoft Word & Excel.
Strong ability to draft technical documents and schematics accurately.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot design issues effectively.
