Mechanic**

**Job Description**

Join our team as a Mechanic, where you will play a critical role in the servicing and repair of pump systems. You will be responsible for cleaning, disassembling, and preparing pumps for field deployment. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your mechanical skills further.

**Responsibilities**

+ Clean and disassemble pump systems.

+ Perform service work on pumps, including pulling hoses and testing machines.

+ Assist in the teardown of power units and pump systems for repowering.

+ Clean, scrape, and sand components in preparation for repainting.

+ Collaborate with trained mechanics on repairs and fabrication tasks.

+ Engage in welding tasks as needed; training will be provided if necessary.

**Essential Skills**

+ Mechanical aptitude, with experience in diesel, assembly, and mechanical systems.

+ Troubleshooting and repair skills.

+ Understanding of hydraulics and preventive maintenance.

+ Proficiency with hand tools.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Knowledge of general mechanics, including auto, diesel, marine, or small engine experience.

+ General knowledge of electrical systems, with a willingness to learn 230-460v.

+ Basic reading and mathematical skills.

+ Legible handwriting.

+ Ownership of a basic set of tools.

+ Reliable transportation.

+ Interest in learning welding techniques.

**Work Environment**

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. You may also be on-call during the week for service calls. Our shop is a very hands-on environment without air conditioning, so be prepared to work in a dirty setting. You will be trained to use a forklift and overhead crane. We emphasize a team environment, and you will be expected to contribute to various tasks around the shop as needed. Reliable transportation is a must.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Langhorne, Pennsylvania.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
