**Job Description**
The mechanic will be responsible for installing and assembling various equipment onto work trucks, including beds, plows, tool boxes, mud flaps, crane holders, ramp holders, and tail lights. This role involves reading blueprints and work diagrams to install hydraulic equipment and parts, performing testing and inspections, and wiring as needed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install and assemble equipment onto work trucks, such as beds, plows, and tool boxes.
+ Assemble tool boxes to the back of trucks and bolt on truck boxes.
+ Install mud flaps, crane holders, ramp holders, and tail lights.
+ Read blueprints and work diagrams to install hydraulic equipment and parts.
+ Conduct testing and inspections on all installed components.
+ Perform wiring tasks as necessary.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 2 years of mechanical aptitude in related fields such as auto mechanic, diesel mechanic, or similar.
+ Ability to read blueprints or work instructions.
+ Proficiency in using hand, power, and air tools.
+ Ownership of basic hand tools including SAE socket sets and measurement tools.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Ability to read a tape measure.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
