A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Project Manager, you will simultaneously run multiple steam service projects at Charlotte and other domestic external suppliers. You will coordinate with Project Managers, Finance, Engineering, Repair Shops and Supply Management to support the overall program needs including forecasting, warehousing, parts kitting and financial management.
How You'll Make an Impact
Simultaneously lead multiple steam service projects at Charlotte and other domestic external suppliers.Responsible for providing customer status updates, in both written and verbal formats.Create Extra Work Requests, present to customer and implement change orders once approved.Support customer visits for pre-project planning, status visits and witness points.Coordination of information and logistics between a variety of internal and external organizations.Manage performance metrics including facilitation of lessons learned at conclusion of each project.
What You Bring
Minimum required education is a bachelor's degree, preferably in an engineering field. However, other BA/BS degrees may be considered. Some technical background a help.At least 0-3 years relevant work experience required, preferably in the power generation industry.Strong work ethic and willing to do what it takes to get the job done on time and with high qualityStrong written, verbal, mathematical, and interpersonal skillsDomestic travel up to 20% (primarily during Spring & Fall outage seasons)Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
