- Maintaining facilities,.
- Lead or functionally supervise staff; delegate work assignments
- Builds, fabricates, or repairs structures, equipment, and/or miscellaneous articles from verbal instructions, blueprints and/or working drawings. welds, solders, brazes, grinds, and/or fabricates various materials.
- Monitor/review quality of work, schedule staff, provide technical assistance or training.
- Provide input on performance appraisal, hiring and discipline
- Provides technical consultation to originators of project job orders, including development of project plans and related estimates.
- Directly related professional construction and maintenance experience
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Ability to lead and supervise a crew on construction or maintenance projects
- Experience in supervising full time and seasonal employees
- Experience in a variety of construction and maintenance trades, including:
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Concrete
- Framing
- Finishing
- Painting
- Fencing
- Welds, solders, brazes, grinds, and/or fabricates various materials.

- Risks which require the use of special safety precautions and/or equipment.
- Work requires physical exertion. May require the ability to stand; walk over rough surfaces; bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach, lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) in a recurring manner and/or for long periods of time.
- Outside work in sometimes extreme weather conditions, operating a variety of vehicles and equipment including:
- Forklifts
- Skid Steers
- Using a variety of construction equipment, grounds keeping equipment and hand tools.
- Flexible 80 hours schedule. Most of the time worked must be during normal business operating hours Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm.
- Must possess a current driver license.
- Non-standard work schedule is typical during the field season.
- Some travel and overnight stays will be required including occasional camping.
- Must be comfortable working independently, in remote areas, with limited cell phone coverage.
- General Contractors License and Electrical Certifications (can be obtained during probation)
