The Project Manager (AKA Facilities Supervisor) has an operational and technical understanding of electrical power, automation controls, and HVAC equipment that support customers high availability, mission critical sites and systems. This Project Manager (PM) works onsite at various customer sites and manages, organizes, controls, and supports all aspects of activities that are required and defined by full-service maintenance agreements, or projects between the Company and its customers. The PM supports customers as required and provides technical support, supervision, and planning for full-service contracts and other projects as assigned. The PM assists other DVL team members, business partners, and customers as required to successfully serve our customers high availability systems support needs.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

  • Provides specialized technical project and service management support and supervision as required by DVL, and the customer to meet assigned objective at various customer sites.
  • Reads and understands construction prints, plans, and some schematic drawings. Understands sequence of operations documents and user manuals for equipment.
  • Meets regularly with customers, schedules, and coordinates all Preventive Maintenance (PM), and remedial repair events on covered equipment. Sets up customer PM schedules. Oversees activity scheduling for all contracted work. Attends project planning meetings as required and manages overall project flow. With guidance creates and provides written Method Of Procedure (MOP), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and customer change management documents as required.
  • Produces written schedules and supporting documentation for service events. Coordinates scheduling with customers, DVL associates, and sub-contractors. Provides documentation to the customer to substantiate that contracted services have been properly performed in a timely manner. Forwards all service and customer documentation to DVL Coordinators for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Manages and directs contractors and vendors when required.
  • Provides all vendor and sub-contractor information to DVL Coordinators as needed for proper and timely preparation of purchase orders, customer invoicing, vendor payments, and required financial and accounting recordkeeping.
  • Properly use, operates, and maintains company vehicles, trailers, test equipment, tools, and assets.
  • Works in a safe manner. Follows all DVL safety policies, OSHA standard safety practices, and customer site safety requirements. Provides supervision to ensure that when working at customer locations, safety procedures and practices are understood by DVL associates and subcontractors and are followed. Leads safety pre-work briefings prior to daily job start with all involved personnel.
  • Functions successfully under the pressures of time, a non-standard schedule, adverse weather conditions, customer demands, as required to meet customer requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY

  • High school diploma and a two-year technical degree or training from the military, technical school, or similar professional certification/college
  • HVAC systems experience with commercial and industrial systems with a proficiency in the operation, diagnostics, and service of: Small and large tonnage air cooled, water cooled, centrifugal, screw, and reciprocating chillers. Packaged rooftop units (RTU), split condensing units, AHU systems, pumped refrigerant, glycol-based systems, evaporative cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, etc.
  • A minimum of 4 years electrical power/commercial industrial power related experience
  • Proof of Electrical Training certification
  • Technical experience in electrical power systems, maintenance and testing preferred
  • Basic knowledge of building automation control systems including PLC controls and SCADA preferred
  • Valid drivers license to drive to customer sites
  • Available to perform scheduled on-call & emergency call out duties (Nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Safety Training and/or OSHA 10 training
  • Recent and relevant customer service skills examples

The salary pay range is $120,000 - $150,000/year plus car allowance and bonus based on relevant power systems service experience.
