Welder III

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Welder III to join their team. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of TIG with some MIG. Able to read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications. Use of electric and air tools. Works with Stainless Steel, Sheet Metal. Able to work with 16-18 gauge material. Good with structural welding from to 6. Fluxcore is a plus.

Job Title: Welder III
Location: Pomona, CA
Pay Range: $24 - $28
Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

What's the Job?

• Complete welding projects with minimal supervision using various welding processes such as electric resistance, oxyacetylene, and plasma-arc torches.
• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and repair of products.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, specializing in techniques like TIG and MIG welding.
• Assign work to other welders and check their work for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Utilize electric/air tools and power tools as required for various tasks, including assembly and cutting operations.

What's Needed?

• Five years of experience as a Welder II, or a welding certification with three years of relevant working experience.
• Must have knowledge of TIG with some MIG.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
• Works with Stainless Steel, Sheet Metal.
• Able to work with 16-18 gauge material.
• Good with structural welding from to 6.
• Fluxcore is a plus.
