Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician for a reputable heavy equipment and machinery company located in Phoenix, AZ. This role combines light mechanical work, preventative maintenance, and yard equipment support - ideal for someone hands-on, dependable, and looking to grow in the equipment service industry.

Mechanical Technician

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $23-$26/hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil and filter changes, greasing, fluid checks, and battery testing on equipment.

• Support mechanics with diagnostics, inspections, and light repair tasks.

• Operate forklifts and yard equipment to transport machines safely across the yard and into service areas.

• Clean and prepare equipment for customer use, including pressure washing and detailing.

• Assist with loading/unloading of machines and maintaining a clean and organized yard.

• Work outdoors in various weather conditions while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in mechanical repair, lube tech work, or equipment maintenance preferred.

• Forklift experience required.

• Ability to perform physical tasks and basic mechanical functions independently.

• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in outdoor conditions.

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
